Timothy Schmidt, DVM

Dr. Timothy Schmidt graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1999. He has been the owner of For Pets’ Sake Veterinary Clinic, Inc. since 2001. Dr. Schmidt enjoys seeing patients as well as surgery. In his spare time he enjoys scuba diving, outdoor activities, traveling and spending time with his family.

Selina Temple, DVM, CVA

Dr. Selina Temple graduated from Michigan State University with a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2004. She has also received her certification as a Veterinary Acupuncturist and Palliative Care Provider through Chi-University in Florida. Dr. Temple sees all manner of exotic animals including reptiles, birds, small mammals as well as dogs and cats. When she is not at the clinic, she loves to garden, bake and spend time with her family.

Jennifer Schmidt, CVPM

Our Practice Manager, Jennifer is available to help our clients and our entire team. She has earned an Advanced degree from Colorado State University in 2016 and her Certified Veterinary Practice Manager designation in 2015. She works very hard to create and maintain excellent client and technical service and a great work environment.

I have been a full time member of For Pets' Sake since April of 2019. I graduated from Gateway Technical College with an Associate Degree in Applied Science and am a Certified Veterinary Technician. For as long as I can remember I have always wanted to make an impact on this world, for me, veterinary medicine has allowed me to speak for those without a voice and help our pets have the best lives they could ever ask for. I am very passionate about animal behavior as it allows us to better understand our pets and perhaps even communicate with them. I am also passionate about coming to work each day and being able to work with animals. I mean, for pet’s sake! I get to wake up each day knowing each face I see will make my heart pitter-patter and being able to share a piece of my heart with them is a feeling of gratitude I could never describe. Growing up we always had pets in our home and I continue to do so to this day. In my free time I have found myself raising an army of kittens and have slowly been turning into that “crazy cat lady” but don’t worry, I try to balance it by being a mediocre guitar player, singing, and binge watching Netflix while I snack in bed.

I have worked at For Pets' Sake for as long as I can remember! I have always loved animals and just graduated from Veterinary Technical school and am preparing to take the State board exam to earn my Certified Veterinary Technician designation. I love being outside with my horses, chickens, ducks and guinea hens. And, when I'm inside I love to hang out with my dogs and cats!

I've been working at For Pets' Sake for 2019. I have always wanted to work with animals, so I can help as many as I can. I am almost completed with my Veterinary Technician degree from Gateway Technical College. In my spare time I enjoy playing volley ball and LOVE school! I also have A LOT of pets at home!

Hannah S.

My name is Hannah and I've been working at FPS for six years! I’ve loved animals my entire life and I feel like caring for them and helping to make them better is my calling in life. I love learning what medications help what ailments and in what animals. I also like learning about nutrition, hematology and phlebotomy.

I’m a home body and an introvert, and what I enjoy the most is a night in with my dogs. Other than animals, genealogy is another big interest of mine. I am very family oriented and will do anything for my family or friends.

I have two dogs, Lily who is about three, and Odin, who is a year. I have a grandma kitty named Isabel. She’s 18 years old! A beta fish and a beautiful ball python named Khaleesi. I have no kids yet, so as of right now, they are my babies!

My favorite food in Mexican, especially tacos and fajitas with extra avocados! I love everything chocolate and raspberry. My favorite place to go is TJMaxx.

We have a great clinic and you can rest assured that your pet will be taken care of like they are our own!
